The Savannah CFO Council recently appointed Precision Cutting Service’s Controller, Ms. Lisa Lanier, as Board Secretary. Her new responsibilities include managing the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credit Certification program for member CPAs and taking and distributing meeting minutes.
According to council founder, Roy Austin, “the CFO Council of Savannah provides a trusted and discreet forum for Coastal Empire & Lowcountry senior financial executives and corporate decision-makers to share best practices and discuss relevant financial and operational issues.”

Ms. Lanier, a 1989 Graduate of Georgia Southern University, is the Controller and Business Manager for Precision Cutting Service, Inc., in Savannah, GA, where, since 2008, she has helped serve a nationwide customer base while supervising the company’s Accountingand Financial Reporting functions.
“Lisa makes certain our business ticks consistently well,” said Precision Cutting Service President, Joe Moore. “We would have a difficult time meeting our customer and monthly targets were it not for Lisa’s keen eye for detail, her expert accounting skills, and her commitment to top notch customer service.”

She is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys spinning and weight training classes, and she has run the famous Savannah Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon. Baking is another one of her favorite pastimes. People may also be surprised to know that Ms. Lanier is a graduate of the Toastmaster’s International Communication and Leadership program.
